IVY MEADOWS
SOUND HEALING
Logo by Emily Linklater
Sound has been central in regulating my own nervous system; I’ve been working with it in this way since 2010, and it's what drew me to this work and keeps me wanting to share it with others. Sound has been used as medicine throughout history in ancient Egyptian and Greek temples, in Ayurvedic, Asian, and Indigenous Australian healing traditions, in Irish and Celtic traditions, and in ceremonial practices worldwide to date. I am a 200-hour certified therapeutic sound practitioner through Sound Medicine Academy as of 2026. While I draw upon my studies of these lineages and my training, my approach is ultimately shaped by my own embodied experience working with sound.
I offer private and group sound healing sessions, also known as sound baths. During a sound bath, you experience sound vibrations as I play acoustic instruments, primarily crystal singing bowls and chalices, a crystal harp, a gong, tuning forks, and chimes. Sessions may also include color and light work, and can be deeply restorative, energetically clearing, or something in between.
Session types:
1-on-1 Sound Healing: Sound bath for relaxation and clearing.
1-on-1 Sound Healing + Intuitive Channeling: Sound bath where we work on a specific intention together. Before we begin, we discuss what you're working with. During the sound bath, the sound acts as a conduit. Primed by our conversation, I share an intuitive read of what comes up for me through imagery and messages. Afterward, we reflect together on what came through. This can be described as intuitive or psychic channeling. However, the process is collaborative. Let’s take a deep dive into your subconscious together! ;)
Group Sound Healing: Sound bath for groups of 2 or more.
In-person at Pineapple Reality in Brooklyn, NY, by arrangement at another location, or online via Zoom. Info and Zoom link will be sent after booking. For any questions and booking: ivymeadows.soundhealing@gmail.com
Testimonials
My sound bath with Camilla was a powerful experience. Camilla gently facilitated a conversation exploring my intentions, and with the support of her thoughtful questioning, I arrived at a clarity of purpose.
During the sound bath itself, I entered a state of time and space becoming irrelevant in the most beautiful way. I was floating and flowing from one sound to next as it reverberated in my body, psyche, and spirit. I felt lots of energy moving, and came out of the journey with a feeling of lightness as well as groundedness that's stayed with me over the last week.
Communication that has in the past felt challenging feels less daunting now, and is taking place with ease. When we both shared about the experience afterwards, I was in awe at the synchronicities that existed between the images I saw in my mind's eye and what Camilla was intuiting.
Receiving sound bath with Camilla is like stepping into a collaborative, resonant dreamscape designed to vibrate off the miasmatic gunk so that we can show up as our truest selves. And her feline friend, Nisa, is a wonderful companion for the journey. :)

I've received several private sound bath sessions from Camilla and each time is a unique experience. First of all, all her instruments are a beautiful ensemble of shapes and colors, which I was immediately drawn to before laying down and closing my eyes.
Once I settle in, I am able to trust in her to guide me through a multidimensional sound journey putting me in a state that is subconscious and dream-like. I often feel more expansive and harmonized after. Also feel like the kinks have been untangled and worked out!
Highly recommend.

A massage for the brain. Felt like layers of clutter were being rinsed off by various sounds as if they were different kinds of abrasives.
Made me think of how Coney Island is cleaned in the foggy night by garbage trucks with attachments that scoop up the debris but let the sand escape.
On another level of perception the sounds were cinematic, propelling the imagination into settings and moods of all kinds. Some long forgotten. For example, with lower frequencies it felt to me murky and suspenseful like walking through the woods at night as a character in a drama or epic saga. Higher frequencies evoked films I watched as a child - usually ones produced in the 60s and 70s, often based on fantastical folk tales.
In this way it felt like a creative exercise or something of that nature.

I did both session types: a sound healing session and a one that included intuitive channeling!
For the sound healing session, I was trying to let go of some fixations that weren’t healthy for me. One thing that instantly makes Camilla’s sound baths different, is how they make space before the session to share, process, and set intentions. During the bath, the vibrations brought awareness to the stress I was holding onto in my stomach. The stress moved down and out of my body through my feet, to make room for the sounds. I experienced periods of euphoria and felt my body disappear, losing track of where it began and ended. Camilla has a gift for creating safe and supportive spaces for processing stuck feelings.
For the intuitive channeling session, I was still in a period of acute grief, having recently lost my dad. The session began as a conversation about my experience with grief and what I was having trouble processing. That conversation alone was therapeutic. Then, through the sound bath as well as gentle and thoughtful prompting from Camilla, I envisioned a room full of love, carried and amplified by the vibrations from the bath. The experience made me well up (in a good way) and we ended discussing what came up during the session. Camilla asked me if I wanted to hear about the visualizations they experienced concerning my dad, which were beautiful and healing. I appreciated that detail, especially while in grief. I’ve had many sound baths, and they were all great. But what was missing was connection and a sense of community support. These sessions are special and I cannot recommend them enough.
